A pregnancy registry is a study that collects health information from women who take prescription medicines while they are pregnant. Information is also collected on the newborn baby.
The purpose of the Teva Migraine Pregnancy Registry is to help doctors learn more about the effects of different migraine medicines on pregnancy and babies. What is learned from this registry may help other pregnant women like yourself who suffer from migraine.
If you are pregnant, between the ages of 18 and 45, and have taken a migraine medication during your pregnancy or within the five months prior to your current pregnancy, you may be eligible to participate in this registry and contribute to this important research.
Participation in this registry will require periodic information collection by your physician or yourself via short phone interviews and/or paper-based forms.
If you agree to participate, there are no additional healthcare provider visits, testing, or treatments beyond the regular medical care you receive from your healthcare providers.
With your consent, we will contact either you, your healthcare provider(s), or your baby’s healthcare provider(s) to obtain information at various times about you, your pregnancy, and your baby through their first year of life.
